Increase range on 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax LB7 crew cab short bed trucks with S&B's 62-gallon midship replacement tank. This LB7-only tank includes an S&B sending unit, replacement straps, a sump provision, and transfer-pump readiness through its 1/2-inch NPT fitting. It is designed for towing, work, and long-distance use where the factory tank limits range. Notes: the OE skid plate is not compatible, the tank sits about 5 inches lower than stock, GM DTE cannot be reprogrammed, high-flow truck-stop nozzles may not shut off automatically, and 2004.5+ LLY/LBZ/LMM trucks use a different tank.
